PCB Protection Coating
Product Description
IT-2582 is an alkyd polyester - based coating designed for protection of PCB’s exposed to very high temperatures. The coating can withstand temperatures up to 200 oC, falling in thermal class N. The coating exhibits a good surface finish & bond strength.
The coating is designed to provide a layered coating onto the printed circuits or other electronic substrates to protect and significantly extend the life of the components and circuitry against environmental and mechanical damage. The coating protects electronic printed circuit boards from moisture and contaminants, preventing short circuits and corrosion of conductors and solder joints. It also minimizes dendritic growth and the electro migration of metal between conductors. In addition, the use of conformal coating protects circuits and components from abrasion and solvents.
The dried film requires curing for 15 min at 120 oC
